August 24, 2007, Newsletter Issue #77: Immune System Supplement: Immunoglobulins

Tip of the Week

Immunoglobulins are protein molecules found naturally in colostrum and the human body. They act as powerful antibacterial and antiviral agents in the body, protecting the immune system and helping it to achieve optimal performance. While antibiotics have proven to be effective in killing harmful bacteria in the body, bacteria are able to develop a resistance to them, making them less effective the more a person takes. This is not the case with immunoglobulins, and they have been shown to enhance the effectiveness of antibiotics.
