October 5, 2007, Newsletter Issue #83: The Colon

Tip of the Week

The colon is an essential organ in the digestive system, and is responsible for absorption of water and minerals, and elimination of waste. When the colon is not working properly or operating under optimal health, serious problems can arise. Basically, if the colon is not able to do its job properly, there will be a build up of toxic waste in your body, and this can cause a whole host of problems. Problems with the colon can result in constipation, diarrhea, bad breath, distended abdomen, skin problems, colon cancer, prostate problems, asthma and allergies. It is important to maintain colon health by using cleansers or hydrotherapy.
