Colon cancer is the second highest rate of cancer in the United States. Over 56,000 will die in the United States from this disease, and up to 2/3 of those with are preventable with early screening and prevention methods. It is recommended that everyone over the age of 50 be screened for colon cancer. There are many ways to reduce your risk of getting colon cancer. Eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly, avoid smoking and maintain good colon health. This can include the use of colon cleansers and taking acidophilus and colostrum supplements.
